No I don't think I ever could, but I unfortunately know a lot of people who will. I think that it is important to look at policy over public appearance, because you can get used to having a woman in office or a black man in office, but you may not want to get used to someone who increases taxes every year, cuts social spending in programs you care about or increases the number of nation wide standardized tests. Though a woman or a person of colour may be something new, something new isn't always something better, maybe that something better is a middle-aged rich white guy with some fantastic ideas.
